Introducing the Pickled Compost Starter Kit!
Includes:
- 1x 75g (or 190g) pouch of Pickled*
- 2x new or used 10 or 20 Litre buckets
This is a great option for those who don't yet have an appropriate airtight container to pickle your scraps in. The reason 2x buckets are included is so that once you have filled your first bucket, a second bucket can be started straight away.
A 10 litre Pickled Compost system is suitable for 1-2 person household.
A 20 litre Pickled Compost system is more suited to 3-4+ households.
*If used every day, 1x 75g pouch of Pickled will last 4-6 weeks. 1x 190 gram pouch will last approx. 10-12 weeks.
Going really well, staff are on board with putting all food waste in a separate container to be pickled, and one bucket full is already buried in the garden.
